NIA UPRIIS Ushers 2025 with Crafting Horizons

Setting the tone for a year of progress and collaboration is what is envisioned in the celebration of the year 2025 with #CraftingHorizons ushering activity.

The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Ushering Ceremony is already engraved as part of our Agency’s annual tradition to welcome the new year with shared commitment and renewed focus towards the attainment of NIA’s vision, mission, goals and objectives.

Consistent with NIA’s mandate, NIA UPRIIS together with other Field Offices also remains (NIA) committed at the forefront of a transformative journey, crafting the horizons of innovation, resilience, and sustainable practices to secure a brighter future for Philippine agriculture.

Department Manager Engr. Gertrudes A. Viado together with E&O Division Manager Engr. Alvin L. Manuel and newly designated A&F Division Manager Mark Gemmill M. Fagela led the UPRIIS workforce in crafting of horizons simultaneously with Division Offices being led by its respective Managers: Engr. Aldous Joseph S. Lamucho of Division I, Engr. Marvin C. Bustamante of Division II, Engr. Elenita L. Toquero of Division III, Engr. Wilfredo A. Balauro of Division IV, Engr. Roberto Q. Matias of Division V, Engr. Jose Ariel G. Domingo of Division VI, and Engr. Ronaldo C. Salazar; and UPRIIS Section Chiefs.

With greater anticipation, each employee eagerly met new horizons and crafted a brighter and more promising future not only for themselves but the Agency and its stakeholders as well. The ushering wall has become a witness of each one’s weaving of yarn in shaping the future of the Agency.

On the other hand, NIA Administrator Engr. Eduardo Eddie G. Guillen sees the Crafting Horizons ushering wall as an inspiration for NIAns to continuously provide a sustainable service to our farmer-beneficiaries.
